I have bet on millions of hands of blackjack. I started working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of funds at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the runs you see wagering this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 bet

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40

Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager

Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet

If you left at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
